Throughout the year, we are celebrating our anniversary with Heritage/Heirloom projects. For the months of May through July, a project will be introduced at Craft/Hobby Night on May 16 in the Colby City Hall Community Room.
A special invitation is extended to knitters and crocheters, as pattern packets will be available to help the Colby Public Library create an “Underwater Adventure” for the summer reading program. We are hoping to revive age old yarn arts with a new and exciting project. The ocean display will be set up in June and July to enhance the summer reading program, and any small animals and sea creatures created will later be donated to Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital after the project is done.
Doors open at 4 p.m. Bring a treat to share, if you desire, and a friend. Crafters are always welcome to work on projects of their own choosing during the evening. Pattern packets will be available in the library throughout the summer for those wishing to help create an underwater adventure.
Call the library at 715-223-2000 for more information.
